I'm staggered any elected representative of the American people could even think about honouring this treacherous cow!

""I can think of no living American who is less worthy of this honor," Douglas, chairman of the chamber's Veterans and Military Affairs committee, said Thursday. "She is as guilty of treason as Benedict Arnold and Tokyo Rose."
I guess that about covers it! They should charge whomever proposed to bestow this honor on Hanoi Jane with treason after the fact.

"She has a clue!"
Then why did she sponsor the bill to honor Jane?

Isn't there a ruling which requires the posting of a nudie picture on each Jane Fonda thread?

yah
I almost puked my coffee this morning, as this was what was on Fox when I clicked on the TV.
I find it hard to believe that any politician in this country would be stupid enough to pull a stunt like this, and have the audacity to cry on television when she withdrew it.
Some things are bad enough that saying "I'm sorry" just isn't enough. Hanoi Jane is such a case. Merely mentioning her name in public insults every Vietnam Vet, and especially our former POWs; no matter how many charities she supports.

[But she said Fonda's good works for the past three decades outweigh any negatives associated with her Vietnam-era actions.]
Miles is a typical moonbat, she's right in there with many judges and lawyers in believing a person is not responsible for their actions.
Congratulations to Senator Douglas, he understands treason.

but we should not be inextricably bound to its mistake.
IF she, Hanoi Jane, considered it a mistake because of what she did, I could accept that; however, the only reason she considers it a mistake is because the real Americans here in our nation have a LONG memory and a very short tolerance of treason.
I agree, there is no one in this country less worthy of any award than Hanoi Jane.
Cordially,

The word "honor" and her name do not belong in the same paragraph.

If she'd been hung thirty years ago, this wouldn't be a problem.

Nope, still too good. Insults female dogs everywhere.

What a waste of taxpayer money.I was in the inf.when that bitch pulled her stunt. She is lucky she never visited my unit!I will never forget and none of my family will as long as I live. The real sad part is,there are a lot of her clones in the govt.

But she said Fonda's good works for the past three decades outweigh any negatives associated with her Vietnam-era actions. This is the same rationale the nuts used to argue that Tookie Williams shouldn't have been executed because he supposedly wrote some children's books.
