"Nothing conservative about the federal government subsidizing drugs for old folks."

There is nothing wrong with the new drug program as those who have started to educate themselves and are now getting used to the change are finding out.

The success of clinton's positive economy was all built on lies and he didn't have a major war like we're involved with, because of clinton, to contend with.

Nothing except for the fact its socialized medicine. Coming from Britain I can understand why you have no problem with it. Maybe you should take the time and read the US Constitution. Its America's governing document. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say anything about the federal government being responsible for a citizens retirement needs, medical needs or prescription drug needs.

There's about $839Billion things wrong (projected over the next 10 years) with the new medicare prescription drug entitlement.

You are no conservative if you like more entitlement spending. Why shouldn't their families help them out if they need it ?

You sound like other British folk I know who grew up with the British national health service - you know, Americans are stupid because we don't think taxpayers should have to fork out for someone else's health care and other socialist type thinking.
