I love the way some freepers blame McClellan...sheesh...NO ONE, even Ari could put up with what he has had to.

I am NOT saying he is the best in the world...but I bet they wouldn't want to be a punching bag everyday, either.

The thing is, Tx, he shouldn't allow himself to be a punching bag. Alberto Gonsales has done some excellent press conferences, and he shuts down their questions when they are out of line. McClellan looks like he is being whipped. He seems like a nice guy, it's just a case of being too nice. You can't control the press being Mr. Nice Guy. If they start their attacks, he should shut off the question and move on to someone else. If a press person persists, have security remove them. You can bet it wouldn't keep happening if that were done.
