And thank god there were some in DC unwilling to depend entirely on the predictability of a madman and sons, their billions for WMD/capabilities, the M.O. to use them, their admitted financing of the Islamic cults, their bribery of the UN to lift sanctions, their defiance of the surrender agreement, and threats against troops fighting the WOT in the region.

As far as links, suspicions, proof, ect, they were oft stated for a decade by those who oppose the President now. Who knows what will be discovered, admitted to, and proved once the war against this President is over.

But the immoral policy of containment that consigned millions to tyranny for a generation is now over, and a civilized nation has a chance to sprout.

And a man who until 3 years ago affected every fear of a WMD war, and every calculation of the future of the ME, is gone from power.

As the NYT editorialized to Clinton: "eliminate any capacity to make WMD, and export the blessing of democracy".

I don't want to argue too much about this because our main focus needs to be on a successful outcome in Iraq.

I don't believe the President would invade again at the same time in the same way if he had known then what we know now.

But we are there and the troops need our support and the future of the United States requires a positive outcome so we need to rally together.
