The slight was against Evangelical Christians. Couldn't fit 'Evangelical' in FR title and keep title less than 100 characters. But if you look at the essay title directly beneath the FR title, you will see the 'Evangelical' and 'Religious Right' qualifiers.
What clinton is doing here is despicable. He is equating the Religious Right with the islamo-fascist terrorists. He is equating the Religious Right with the hatred and the killing....
While I agree it is dispicable of Clinton to do that, I will put two points forward then shut my trap on it.
1. Does anyone think the "religious right" isn't going to to be against Hillary anyway?
2. How long ago was this attack against the religious right by Clinton?
