Not so much..
Establish firing points and field of fire..
Use night vision, and spot movement and targets for air support.. ( You want air support to KNOW EXACTLY where you are at, and where you're not.. less chance of "freindly fire" casualties that way..)
Maintain your perimeter...

True enough... But just as they used the "2nd Commando Brigade" (Iraqi?) to secure buildings pre-strike, I'm betting we have a few similar folks moving about, collecting intel.
