They are saying they want to talk to us directly. That's what I heard on F&F this morning.

Listening on Fox, Bret Baier has stated twice that paratroops are involved. Even when he showed the troop airlift helicopters, he still said they were paratroops.
For the record, the 101st Airborne are not paratroops, but air assault via helicopter troops. The only Army division that is paratroop is the 82nd Airborne Div.
That said, God bless em all and hope they succeed post haste!

I pray none of our fellows gets a scratch, but if casualties must occur, I am sure each and every brave man would rather it be in battle than just driving down the road or sleeping in his rack.

I have three sons---I can only imagine what you (and every other military parent) must be going through. My oldest 2 are in their 20's and not in the military. My youngest is 14.
I have a special admiration for parents whose children volunteer to go into harm's way. God be with you and your son.

North Korea tried that same tactic. We didn't fall for it then, I doubt we'll fall for it now.

Remember the story a few weeks ago about the gun-ships going into Iraq? Are these the helicopters you speak of?
Sorry for the ignorant question!

They are saying they want to talk to us directly. That's what I heard on F&F this morning. Sure..
Just as soon as ordinance is fully stocked and resupplied..
And we've re-loaded..
Then we'll be glad to talk..
One last time...
Be sure to listen.. Very carefully..
