You came aboard fairly late in the ogoing saga, Nan.
It had begun about 2 years before, on a day when I posted something, and out of the blue, he (then a stranger) replied to me from aboard the
Mobius off New Zealand...dangled a "bit of suggestive bait," and I responded in kind...:))
We made everything up as it went along, sparking back and forth...I recruited some of the fellas to man a vessel to sail me down there to rendezvous with him...while I napped, the man at the wheel accidentally turned left into the Panama Canal, with me waking as we approached the Azores...and we went into the Mediterranean Sea and then Suez Canal, etc., with lots of misadventures along the way!
It was hilarious creative fun...
It was great creative fun wasn't it. My job was to climb up the mainsail and cry "Land Ho!" because I was afraid of water and couldn't swim, so I was always on the lookout for land. Cap'n OfMagog got fed up with my "false" alarms and put me to cleaning the bilg pump below deck.
