Morning, Duke! Great AT story!
I was just at McCoy two summers ago, for MI training. It's the main mobilization base for that region of the nation, so it's always packed.
I fell in love with Tomah and Sparta. They had a heart-warming July 4th parade. And the Cheese festival in Sparta was great.

Every time I drove through the contonment area at McCoy, Glen Miller's "A String Of Pearls" would echo in my head. I thought of all of the energy that was expmended there during WWII and I could feel it. It was really spooky in a way.
