FReeper Canteen ~ What's The Origin Of Your Screenname? ~ March 16, 2006

What is the origin of your screen name? Come tell us your story.... How'd ya choose your screen name? A situation in your life? Part of a song? Your Military service?
For me, it was three times I came across "Misbehavin" that decided it for me! I bought a blouse that had that on the tag... Then my MIL gave me a book about a cat called Ms.Behavin.. Then I heard the song "Ain't Misbehavin!"
So there ya have it! Have fun! Please, no politics in The Canteen.. We want our troops to rest, relax and relate!
Now tell us YOUR story!! |

Beachy,
What a fun thread reading how people came up with their screens names. Some of the names I wondered about in the past. Can you figure out how I came up with my screen name? LOL :)

Vaguely -- I wasn't allowed to watch Monty Python as a kid. I only saw a few episodes, and then of course in college I saw the movies. Just the name Monty Python makes me laugh -- LOL!!!

THE most under rated threads ever.

I'm quite a bit hairier than average and have grayed early. Plus, my Dad's CB callsign was Gorilla Dave. I was just plain Silverback until I went to sign up for a Yahoo account and it was taken, so I added Mr. and have kept it ever since.
My wife, Rambette, got hers at Air Force basic training.

This thread is a hit! :) The thread looks beautiful too, Ms.B! I read from the beginning (still catching up). I love reading the screen names and how people came about choosing their Freeper name. Thanks
