The president addressed an audience in Silver Spring, MD, on the benefits of Medicare prescription drug benefit.
Members of Congress met with Bush on his upcoming legislative agenda. Many of the major stock indexes have hit 5 year highs; the Dow Jones 30, the SP 500 included.
Bush attended the Hungarian Celebration of Contributions to Democracy, marking the 50th year since the Hungarian revolution.
Click here for an article, with video links, about Laura Bush and exercising. Laura's shocking confession! "I Was Shamed into Starting To Exercise." =)

I did hear it, and I thought.....YEAH!! I'm sick of being made to feel defensive about this OBVIOUSLY RIGHT thing to do!
Only Rush was talking about RATS, and I'm defending myself against people who call themselves conservatives............is something wrong with this picture??

If Dickie crosses your path, keep your shoes on, he'd love to suck your toes.

I am SURE that Dickie got LOTS of negative feedback on his "Bush is lazy" comment!!
He is spinning now...trying to placate people..I am beginning to believe he is a double agent...
Bad mouthing Hillary in order to get her elected.

Deeply sad, of course.....
It was when my Dad died that my husband found out how warm and caring the dear people of this forum are, and then when Eric was gone........WOW! This place lifted me up every single day for 15 months!
(It helps mitigate the nonsense that goes on around here, doesn't it?)

So, Dickie reads The Dose, does he? Well, I hope that weasel read what I wrote tonight! May he scuttle through New York worrying that Miss Marple might find him!!!
What a weasely way to get out of what he said! If you had heard him, he was most definitely acting like President Bush was napping and bass-fishing and NOT working. He must have received a ton of e-mails, and I hope he is really scared!
I am sick of pundits...can you tell? LOL!

Regarding the nonsense around here, I simply have taken to either ignoring them or laughing at them. I firmly believe they are all either real nut-cases or democrat infiltrators trying to act like super-conservatives. Blech.

I was working out at the fitness center today, and one of the TV's had on a Columbus station, and on the noon news they showed the President's meeting J-Mac.
That story struck such a strong chord with people, that maybe...........just maybe........the publicity will continue, and people will start to see what a compassionate.........and just plain COOL guy our President is.

Miss Marple can beat him over the head with one of her shoes....not that I condone violence.....but if the opportunity arises...take it..

"Today the kids have a presidential pardon from their school," said Lenore Sullivan. So many great articles in that first link and so far no bashing. I am thoroughly enjoying them...thanks for posting.

It is in response to those who say they voted for him in 2000 and/or in 2004, "but after all all this nonsense (the 'quaqmire in Iraq', Katrina, Harriet Miers, UAE ports deal), I can't support him."

Sometimes I read too quickly...the first time I saw this mentioned, I thought it said the Libertarian President, and I was, like, gee I didn't know they had their own president--wonder what she had to say.

You bet.
And by the way, your last FRmail has really dug up and brought a lot of stuff to the surface. Sigh. Why can't we have everything we want in this life!! Thank you for the information and your take on it. I know you are right.
