People who choose a life of hatred and violence will always find a rationale, be it in the Bible, the Koran or the writings of L. Ron Hubbard.

Your statement reveals your ignorance of Islam. The goal of Islam is to establish Sharia (Islamic law) over the entire world. The Quran then gives infidels (that's us) one of three choices:
1. convert to Islam
2. Pay the Jizya (infidel tax)
3. Be killed.

The Quran promotes violence.
