The Story of Ellwood Mesa and Preservation of the Monarch Eucalyptus Grove

"Monarch butterflies are attracted to Australian eucalyptus trees on the mesa. In some years, 100,000 butterflies congregate here.."

I have seen this wondrous migration site..It was near my home in Goleta.CA..We whispered as if we were in a Cathedral..

That sight must be incredible. It's almost unbelievable that that these delicate creatures can migrate such distances.
