This is my field of study, going on 35 years now.

There is not "just as much evidence to make a case for the global flood" in the western US. And if there is no support in this area, the flood could not be global.

If you are interested I would be happy to lay out some of the research my colleagues and I (archaeologists) have uncovered. You know, Archaeologists get to the bottom of things!
