But Dudley has a better sense of humor and the movie was outright hilarious! Oh I agree!

They won't address the merit of his expansion of public schooling down to infants? Well, I will addresss it. Look at Cuba, comrade, and set out on a raft for Utopia right away.

A recent study has already debunked Reiner's claims.
When preschool aged children are subjected to many hours of schooling outside of the home it is actually harmful to their social development.
Children this age are "wired" for free play...not structured skills based learning.
It seems the old practice of one or two days a week for 2 to 3 hrs a day is still the best approach.
They get to meet other kids, play with them...but are still able to maintain that family bond at home.

Yes, I did hear that nauseating ad played on one of the local radio stations here in San Diego, and hated every second of it. What the narrator really was saying is this: 'Rob Reiner and the California Democratic Party would like to take the power and authority of You--the stupid, uninitiated and unwashed-Parents of this great state to raise and educate your children. Because you see, you really do not have the ability to understand children the way We do, so therefore you just sit back, relax, and open your wallets and we'll just take it from here.' All while that sickening guitar is strumming in the background.

Its wrong to use public funds to promote a partisan cause. I don't like having my own money be spent on a political intiative. Its not only theft from the taxpayers; it amounts to a form of tyranny by forcing one man to subsidize another man's opinion that he finds objectionable.
