This is SOP for the MSM. While we get irritated at how they report the conditions in Iraq, we do have to keep in mind that this is the same formula they use here. Front page of most newspapers has nothing but murder, rape, robbery, etc. And all that is "local" news.

I do wish they would run the "horrific" conditions in Iraq right next to the "6 dead in Seattle".
