Russia questions Milosevic autopsy findings, requests to send own doctors

MOSCOW, March 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday that Russia did not fully trust former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic's preliminary autopsy findings and requested to send his own doctors to examine the body.
Lavrov said Russia had been offended by the UN war crimes tribunal's refusal to let Milosevic receive treatment for his heart condition in Russia in December.
Russia "was ready to provide medical assistance to Milosevic and give 100-percent guarantees of his timely return to The Hague. These guarantees were considered insufficient. In fact, Russia was distrusted," the minister stressed.
"In this situation, when they did not believe us, we also have the right not to believe and not to trust those who are conducting the tests" to determine the causes of Milosevic's death, Lavrov told reporters at a briefing.
In his words, a group of Russian medics is preparing for an urgent trip to The Hague, to take part in a forensic medical examination.
"We have asked the tribunal to let our doctors participate in the autopsy or at the very least to be informed of its results," Lavrov said, adding that "a group of our doctors is preparing to depart urgently for The Hague."
U.N. war crimes tribunal spokeswoman Alexandra Milenov said on Sunday that an autopsy revealed Milosevic had died of a heart attack.
But a spokeswoman for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) said it was too early to rule out poisoning as suspected by Milosevic himself days before his death.
The 64-year-old former president was found dead on Saturday morning in his cell at The Hague-based UN court.
A Dutch toxicologist confirmed on Monday that he had found traces of an unprescribed drug in a blood sample taken from Milosevic earlier this year.
Donald Uges said he found traces of rifampicin, a drug that could have reduced the effectiveness of his other medication.
On Sunday, the Russian Foreign Ministry received a letter from Slobodan Milosevic, dated March 8. "The letter expresses concern over certain methods of treatment which were affecting Milosevic's health," Lavrov noted.
Milosevic had suffered from chronic heart problems and high blood pressure. His medical condition repeatedly delayed the trial that began in five years ago. Late last month, the tribunal rejected Milosevic's request for provisional release to go to Russia for medical treatment.
The former Yugoslav president was charged with genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes during conflicts in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo in the 1990s. Milosevic denied the charges and was defending himself. Enditem
They appear to be uniformed soldiers. Unfortunately Slobos boys had a thing for killing women and children.
Showing uninjured people walking out of a war situation their ethnic militants sparked in the first place and what happens when a country is heavily bombed, night and day, by NATO countries - U.S., Germany, Canada, Belgium, Spain, Britain, France, Italy -
Well I'm glad you're showing your hatred of those NATO countries.
How many women and children versus KLA soldiers, can you say?
There were maybe a few cases of collateral damage.
Even the UN staff on the ground came to believe it was the KLA which did some killings to pin on the Serbs. They saw those people up close - lived there - and didn't see things through media propaganda claims and stories.
Explain to me why the Albanian population in Kosovo was the same after the war as before? How is that genocide?
Was the Jewish population the same in the countries where they were genocided?
They maimed children and women. They buried people alive in their homes by bombing them.
You are the one supporting maiming and terrorizing of children.
"Collateral Damage or Massacre - NATO Bombing of Serbia" A girl who lost her legs in the bombing campaign, Kraljevo, May 03, 1999
I can find all the photos of Kosovar children just like that too.
The thing is. Slob is rotting in hell and the world is laughing about it with good reason. For all your little conspiracy theories about his supposed murder, no body will ever care one way or the other.
Where would you get a crazy idea like that? < /sarcasm >

Yes, right where you did. These two personify evil to the hilt. I don't think Bonnie and Clyde, and Al Capone, left a trail of bodies this wide....
Show us some Christian Churches that the muslim ALBANIAN terrorists have destroyed in KOSOVO. And, tell us about all the raped NUNS found by the French troops after the KLA left them for dead in 1999.
Absolutely the best post about the clintons I have seen in a long time!!
Oh, Lord.... that poor baby...
Milosovic .... was no good guy but he faced and understood what we are facing today.
Absolutely.
The Islamanazi-supporting Blair-Clinton-NATO Neo-Axis attacks on Christian Serbia, which picked up where Hitler and the same Islamanazis left off, will live in infamy.
Come to that, so were the Soviets beyond-the-pale bastards. Way way worse, in fact, than Mr Milosovic.
But only one of the unintended consequences of our permitting gangs of essentially self-annointed, self-appointed and self-perpetuating and unsupervised feral gummint bureaucrats to effectively establish al Quaeda and the Taliban and prolong and eventually stop the Soviets' preemptive and defensive Afghanistan war was seen on September 11 2001.

Kosovo A SERBIAN WORD!!!!
You're the one using the name of an afghan warlord, boy.
PING to this great picture of the clintons!!
Go ahead and try, but make sure it wasn't from NATO bombing or mines, but deliberate attacks from Serbs.
Show me a legless Albanian girl along with information about what happened and when.
Thanks for the compliments, I did this about 5 years ago before 911.
"Lion in Winter" is the name of a great English play... Look it up YOUR ignorance is showing SNAKE.
