From a couple of days ago but didn't see it in a search, so here it is.
Will anything come of this? Apparently not.

At least he got a hair-cut, huh?

The lack of 'visible penalty' doesn't mean there wasn't a penalty and we shouldn't assume there wasn't one.. From an HR perspective, if any disciplinary action was done correctly, no one will know other than those directly involved.

sparked national debateWow, where have *I* been during this national debate? Seemed like something the left HOPED would spark a national debate, but didn't.

In my fantasy world, Bennish would return to the classroom to see every student with a big tape recorder on his desk.
At least Sean Allen won't have to suffer him any more. I understand he'll be transferring to a different (hopefully private) school.

Just heard the kid and his dad on the Hannity radio show.
The kid is leaving either the class or the school. The dad is surprised (!) that the school officials and Bennish violated what he thought was an understanding that neither side would keep talking about this in the media. Both dad and kid said they made it clear all along that they didn't want Bennish fired.
Until our people wake up and smell the coffee, and then grow some ballz, we will keep getting bent over.
Pathetic.

I would hazard that this young fellow has lost much. His face has been all over the media. He might bars unsafe for example.

I'm keeping my kids out of CCSD CSAP's in protest of Bennish reinstatement. My email to Dr. Moses was forwarded quickly throughout Eaglecrest and CCSD high schools. In fact, I was just interviewed by the Denver Post today regarding my email. Will anything come of this? We'll see tomorrow. Moses would have fired Bennish if he would have taught at Grandview, Smoky Hill or Cherry Creek because that is where the money is. Overland and Eaglecrest are the "ghetto" schools that Moses could care less about. I'm hoping for a walkout during CSAP testing over the next two days from all 6 high schools. That is where we the people have the upper hand. Play hardball and kick 'em where it hurts.
