The first official Mississippi Freeper Convention will be held Friday March 17 at 10:30 AM with a tour of the Governor's Mansion followed by lunch.(Bring your own money) If you plan to attend contact "Real Magnolia."
Tour Information
The historic section of the Governor's Mansion is normally open to the public Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Guided tours are given every half-hour beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the last tour at 11 a.m. Admission is free. For security reasons, the Mansion grounds are not open for touring and public restrooms are not available. Reservations must be made in advance for groups of ten or more by calling the Mansion curator at (601) 359-6421.
The Mansion is closed to the public the last two weeks in December. The Mansion may be closed at other times for official state functions and other events hosted by the governor. Please call (601) 359-6421 to confirm the availability of the Mansion for tours.
The Governor's Mansion is handicapped-accessible with some limitations. Please contact the Mansion curator at (601) 359-6421 to discuss any needs for handicapped visitors. No animals are allowed in the historic section of the Governor's Mansion except those trained to aid the handicapped.
Visitors on tour are requested not to sit upon or to touch the furniture and furnishings. Photography, smoking, eating, and drinking are also not permitted. Location and Directions
The Governor's Mansion is located at 300 East Capitol Street in downtown Jackson.
Directions: From Interstate 55, take the Pearl Street exit, follow Pearl Street to West Street (3 blocks past State Street), turn right onto West Street, go one block to Capitol Street and immediately past Capitol Street, look on the right for the side gate of the Mansion. Individuals and groups should gather at this West Street side gate of the Mansion for tours. The Capitol Police officer at the West Street gate is available to answer questions.
For security reasons, the public is not permitted to park on the Mansion grounds. Metered parking on adjacent streets and in city parking lots is available. Please contact the Mansion curator at (601) 359-6421 to request on the grounds parking for handicapped visitors.

It is on North Congress Street, just a few blocks from the capitol. I don't know the address I just knew when I saw it and that has been a long time ago.
