Bombs with a "D" on them are good bombs. Bombs with an "R" on them are bad bombs.

Since this came out just a few weeks ago, the 'Bush lied' chant has been absent from the street corners. This, even though the MSM has not given the story any prominance.

Has anyone told George Clooney this?
If not, will any airhead journalist ask him about these tapes the next time he gives his "I'm proud to be a liberal." speech?

Yes.And since pre-war intel is proving itself to be largely realistic, the left is going after the intel community.

Try as I might, I can't think of a reason why WMD in Iraq is still relevant to anyone.
Finding or not finding WMD will not change our public or military policy or flip upcoming elections either way. It can't change the Arab world's outlook or Iran's stance. The DUmmies will still hate the war and the military.
We're way past the point where the pretext for war is especially meaningful. Whether we're succeeding in Iraq, when we will draw down our forces, whether Iraq is in danger of civil war, the quality of Iraqi democracy and human rights, the Iranian weapons program: these are all far more relevant to current policy and politics in America, Europe and the M.E.

"These lefty types hate their own president more than they hate Saddam Hussein. To them Bush is the enemy, not Saddam, Osama Bib Laden, or Al Queda. The want to see Bush fail. They don't care that if Bush fails then America fails." I've long believed that the reason 'the left' wants America to fail is so they can be the superhero's (dictators) to fly in and save the day. IMHO

"Everything [Saddam] is doing is saying, 'Let's take it and hide it' with a clear intent. 'As soon as this is over, we're going to be back after this.' "
I have been saying for a long time what better way to hide something then to move it where it can not be found. Looks like I was right.

The truth about Hussein is pretty obvious to level-headed observers. He was an evil tyrant with delusions of grandeur. He had weapons of mass destruction that he had used and planned to continue manufacturing. He planned to use them against the West with the help of Islamo-fascist terrorists i.e. Al-qaeda and other assorted Islamic terrorist groups.
This plain description of Hussein was too much for the liberal media to handle. Their hate for Bush, and all conservative Republicans for that matter, was such that they couldn't see the forest for the trees. They will never admit to being wrong because they can't stand the idea that conservatives could be right about Iraq and Hussein...or anything else for that matter. Their hate, which blinded their thinking, is reflexive.

"past the point"
I agree with some of your points, but presenting conclusive proof of Hussein's ongoing wmd program will destroy the edifice of lies built by the liberal evil empire i.e. Big Media, lib pols, academia, and Hollyweird concerning the Iraq war.
Many apolitical Americans are firmly convinced that "Bush lied" because Big Media told them so. They then distrust all Republicans and warm to liberal pols. The more the public knows what a bunch of pathetic liars their media heroes and lib pols really are, the more they can be weaned off liberalism. The truth always helps.

"I keep hearing of these satellite photos of trailer truck convoys going into Syria just before the American invasion .Why cant we see these photos?"
I do remember seeing a satellite pic of the line of trucks. Looked real. Don't remember where I saw it, but did impress me deeply. I'm sure that the Administration knows and assume it to be the CIA or military intelligence.

"Colin Powell showed them to the UN Security Council in the fall of 2002 and they were viewed on live television."I think I've seen some of them (screen captures maybe?) on some threads on FR, too. I know I've seen them.

As you are well aware we must expect huge L/MSM surge in confusing the American public. Unless this administration gets air time, and has say GWB read specific pieces from the Qatar Harmony database, making it quite clear why we had to along with honoring the UN resolutions, take the goons out, the demos and their socialist L/MSM organs shall keep things under wraps. One cannot depend on a few dozen conservative based news papers and some talk shows to set the record straight.

If I understand this situation correctly, we have lots more, but it's not translated. Why that is, I couldn't say, but it's darned frustrating.

"No one from the White House will ever mention this."Well, then, it's going to be up to Freepers to push this into the MSM forefront, isn't it? We can email this to talk radio hosts, Fox hosts (Hannity, Hume) and write to the folks who are sitting on the information presently and see if we can convince them to release more than what we now have.
Even with just this much material, it's proof that it was not President Bush who was lying. It was--and IS--the media and the left leaning politicians, most of whom know full well what the facts are, but won't say so because they want to "get" the Bush admin.

I don't know about George Clooney, but I'm hoping someone will set Bill O'Reilly straight. Last time I heard one of his rants, he still preceded it with "I know there were no WMD in Iraq, but..."
