In 2004, Bush wasn't being attacked by Conservatives repeating the media's lies. In 2006, many conservative talking heads seem to be a lot more willing to jump on the lying media's hit parade.

You cannot compare the duration of a presidential election to this deal. The question isn't stupidity the question is information and something that resembles thoughtful consideration.
