I will defer to you that what Abizaid said was not not allowed under the Military Code of Conduct.
I really haven't meant to be arguementative...just stating my opinion that IMHO..he shouldn't be in trouble..(but I like him, so am probably biased in his favor).

No bias against...hell I thought he was a good guy. No place for his opinions since his job is to FOLLOW policy rather than make or comment on it.

You don't have to be military (I'm not) to know what the protocol is.
We do know Abizaid's timely comments were not a coincidence, nor was he reprimanded because he was obviously given a green light.
