No I believe that was Garfield.

Pence has a chance becuase at this point in the game EVERYONE has a chance.

But calling the President a lame-duck seems to be counter-productive too.

Not quite sure if he's the only one since, but it took a gigantic separation of the dems in order to get Lincoln in. I don't think he'll get the position, but he should definitely run and try to be vice.

I do. Sentiment is such among conservatives that a Republican nominee that does not tackle the immigration issue (and not by enacting a guest worker program, either) cannot win the White House.
