I hadn't thought of this angle before. However, I do think there is a difference between admitting him as a student and having him on the faculty, which would indeed be stunning hypocrisy.

Left-wing academics almost always think and act like pre-teen adolescents. If they were real adults, they'd have real jobs and make real contributions to society. But, they're not, they're, with rare exception, muddle-headed children.

So, why is John Fund, or anyone else for that matter, surprised when they act like spoiled brats.

Maybe Yale can admit some Islamic Jihad members, too. I wish those dumb Yale leftists had to live under Sharia. They would be in for a rude awakening.

What's This Taliban Guy Doing At Yale?

Perhaps training for the next politically expedient bit of political theater.

I'm glad Yale rejected the Supreme Court's decision, which also included stopping government funding if they remained in noncompliance.

This Taliban believer at Yale bumps an American student off the accepted list, and they're fighting military recruiters on campus. But who cares about that in the larger scheme of things? They're smart, elitist, Progressive thinkers who know so much more than the average lowly taxpayer who helps pay for professors and clean toilets, but whose kids don't stand a chance of getting in. If I were a Yale alumna, they wouldn't get one more dime. Ever.

What I want to know is, how did Mr. Taliban Spokesman not wind up at Guantanamo? In all the chatter about him being at Yale, I've not heard one person answer that question, and darn few have even asked it.

Ignorant, self-assured, doctrinaire, unapologetic. Rahmatullah fits right in at Yale. What's not to like?

When I heard this, I was not surprised that Yale admitted him, only that the State Department left him in...

Then I wondered if he was a double agent....working for us while pretending to be a Taliban...

"the Achilles' heel of academics is their status anxiety. The only way to attack them is with mockery."

Interesting.
