Well, both Homeland Security and DOD already have a seat at the CFIUS table...so, okay....let's tell them to make sure that they communicate better with the POTUS/CIC better, before signing off on deals..

BUT, Frist was calling for "changes" to make Congressional oversight part of the process....I know that..because it made my ears perk up when he said it...

I am SURE his dem colleagues will applaud that idea...and President Bush will NOT.....LOL

I'll wait for the details. Frist has a way of agreeing with something that is not always agreeing.

Frankly, I'd like to see CFIUS do its job with heightened security in mind instead of the Clinton mindset of business as usual.
