TIVO is more important to me than my microwave oven!

Since you wrote that, I have been thinking which items in my home I would place ahead of my TiVo's (3)

I would never give up DirecTV, so that's one.

I would never go back to low-definition TV, so two.

After that, TiVo is the most important appliance in my home. I would give up my X-Box'es before I gave up TiVo.

We need the tv and the direct tv hook up and tivo is part of that, IMO.

I'd hate to have to choose my tivo or my computer!

Just a quck question about TiVo. It must be the real deal. I have Direct TV, HD TV (Samsung DLP), and love both. I also have a panasonic DVD recorder with 120GB hard drive. It will record, but only in digital, one channel at a time, etc.

Question is can I record to my DVD from the TiVo? Anyone? ......thanks, now back to the "real" show.
