I can't stand Schieffer or Wolf Blitzed or Snuffleopoulous, but strangely enough, I seem to have a higher tolerance level for Russert.

FWIW, my theory is Russert long ago used Rush Limbaugh(with his annual, amiable CNBC profiles) as cover for his illegitamacy as a non-partison reporter.

We've seen the real Russert for over 2 years. Coincidentally for two years we have NOT seen the annual Russert/Limbaugh telecasts. Smart on Russert to curry a little bit of trust from conservatives via Limbaugh, but it's been incessant Bush Bash for years now. He's a Democrat operative (again) dressed in reporters clothes. I pray Scooter Libby/Valerie Plame is his downfall.
