By the way, Miss Marple, I had no idea your Freeper name was connected to some TV show (or was it a mini series?). I discovered this while looking over the DVD ads this morning. Is this true? If so, who is "Miss Marple"?
I have been a long-time fan of the Christie novels and took my name from that character, who was an older woman who lived in a small English village and solved crimes by watching the behavior of people involved.
When I signed onto FR we were trying to solve all of the mysteries surrounding Monica and Clinton (as well as other things going on in that administration) and so I took the name "Miss Marple."
Oh, boy, if you like reading, particularly if you like mysteries, have you got a treat in store.
Some say that some of the Miss Marple stories do "cheat" a bit with solutions that don't directly flow from the clues, but they are fun reads, that's for sure. There are tons of excellent movies and, particularly, a couple of TV productions. The best was on BBC, IMHO, but I prefer the books.
