Its already too late for Allen. Romney has stolen the momentum. Allen can only hope for a VP slot, but that will go to Condi Rice.

I posted on a thread yesterday that one of Allen's problems is he isn't "quick"....he can't formulate a thought and speak in 30 second sound-bite style...

And, in this atmosphere, one has to be able to do that...Romney may have that ability...when I have seen him, which isn't often...he seems quite "smooth".

One who IS quick and smooth, IMHO..is Mike Pence, because he does have a talk show host past....so he isn't afraid to debate one on one...and is able to speak in "soundbites".

I was surprised to see Romney do so well last night...he must have had a group go down early and do some pre-campaigning.

What I hate...is this overwhelming desire by the MSM to crown John McCain already...it may influence the lazy voters who don't want to do homework, but will "do their duty"..and vote, for the MSM's frontrunner.
