Some of them are already falling into that trap, accusing the DEMs of having no plan. That sets up a wave of back and forth that is void of substance, gives the DEMs a chance to accuse the GOP of being wrong, but without having to show their plan.
It takes uncommon discipline to persistently address opposition attacks in substantive terms.
Notice the Republicans who do not propose plans or positions. These tend to be candidates who are not convinced they can be conservative and win or among our RINO class.
Good conservative candidates, and I'm drawing from experience with ours in Colorado, are all articulate in what they stand for, why, and what they would do. Local Democrats do have a plan. What we do on a local level is to help Democrats explain what their plan would mean to the average voter.
No, it doesn't always work. Still, until we learn something better this seems to be a logical way to present our side.
