Saudi Arabia let our military have bases there too. What's your point? Uh the saudi's kicked us out while the UAE has been very helpful. Ask Gens. Tommy Franks and Peter Pace, and now the US Congress have slapped them in the face.

Speaking of~~~~~Gen Tommy Franks, one of the more honorable men in this country, has even been accused - by FReepers - of taking money for his position on UAE. That is an indication of how sick some of the mentality is here.
