The government and the local (semi-controlled) press regularly denounce terrorism. Even in Saudi Arabia, the press is filled almost daily with news and editorials denouncing terrorism. BTW, I don't read Arabic, so my input is based upon the English editions.

That's good, but from what I've read the governments over there like to play both sides of the fence.

This would be a good opportunity for Dubai to make it clear where they stand. Ads in American papers would be a start. They need to denounce all terrorism, including that of Palestinians.

Why should they have to do that?

When are own media is scared to publish the Mohammad cartoons.
Also have you read the UAE newspaper Gulf News?
I have.

It's a LOT fairer to the George W. Then the NY Times.
