Got my HJTA Notice about 9:30am this morning.

Notice further distributed via my Calif Politics Email Hotlist with request to contact Assembly & Senate reps.

Here in Orange County, I have yet to encounter a single conservative who plans to vote for Arnold again.

Fool me once...well, you know the rest of it.

Seems to me that Schwartzenegger and the Democrats have the people of CA in the back seat of that Limo with their clothing torn off, given 'em the screwin of their lives without any lovin!!!

"One of the most troubling aspects of this bill is that it leaves it up to a future vote of the legislature as to how much of the funds are spent, by a majority, not a two-thirds vote, of each house. This is wrong."

It's not only WRONG, it's probably unconstitutional, but what the hell do these clowns care about that???

I wonder why... /sarcasm... It's because they (lame stream press) love that stuff and thoroughly believe it's government's role to not only run your life, but that of every form of life!!! Got it??? You shoulda learned that in government school indoctrination like they did!!!

Of course Arnold believes that Hitlery is right in her belief that "It takes a village to raise a child..." A GANG-GREEN, Liberal Demonicrat village, for sure!!! He's the Kindergarten Cop, don'tcha remmemer???

This will make you feel better. /s
** As insiders gauge the depth of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s setback late last night/early this morning, talk turns to the internals of his operation. Voices in and around Schwarzworld say that very few to none on his gubernatorial staff have any real access to the action superstar now, and that it is basically "The Susan and Arnold Show." "Susan" being Susan Kennedy, the controversial Democrat Arnold picked as his chief of staff after his "Year of Reform" debacle last November.

"It’s all about re-electing Arnold for her," says one, "and that’s fine, but the Republicans needed to get things done are not coming along for the ride." Indeed, they appear quite annoyed. One legislator who was on Arnold’s target list of likely votes groused about being given nothing other than a little memo when he asked what it was he was supposed to vote for.

It's not only WRONG, it's probably unconstitutional,

So was Prop 57/58 until the WG hit upon the initiative concept which only requires a bare majority to do anything including increasing taxation.

Hopefully the Pacific Legal Foundation will bring suit against the State of California and force the initiative process to require a super-majority if taxation is involved.

Until that matter is reviewed, look for government to increasingly use the initiative and referendum process to tax. The people, however, still control their own fate. Simply vote NO

1) An initiative is a proposal for a new statute or constitutional provision that is wholly drafted by a citizen and voted on by the state electorate.

2) A petition referendum delays and puts up for vote a law passed by the legislature and signed by the governor.

3) A compulsory referendum is a constitutional amendment or a bond that 2/3 of the Assembly and Senate put on the ballot.

In review:

1) Initiative = people only
2) Petition Referendum = legislature + governor
3) Compulsory Referendum = 2/3 legislature

But, believe it or not, Prop 57/58 qualified as an initiative. So did Props 74,75,76 & 77. The "infrastructure pork barrel" however will not and that's where a handful of conservatives have both the liberal majority in the legislature and the liberal executive over a temporary barrel.

JUST VOTE NO and the legal definitions or the extra constitutional shenanigans don't matter.

"...very few to none on his gubernatorial staff have any real access to the action superstar now, and that it is basically "The Susan and Arnold Show."

Arnold seems determined to drive off what few conservatives may remain in his base. I don't think that's very many, so it probably doesn't make any difference.

"JUST VOTE NO and the legal definitions or the extra constitutional shenanigans don't matter."

But how dare you be so negative toward our god-like Governor (dripping sarcasm) and his perverse Demonicrat COS when we have FReepers nagging you and others here of the unpardonable sin of allowing an Angeliedes to possibly be elected via your NO voting negativity???

Consider this question permission to rant with your consistent, principled wisdom!!!

We've found another oxymoron! A Plan Without An Infrastructure. Umberto Eco would be proud.

It was such an astute move. Sundheim assured Republicans the Kennedy appointment was no big deal. What else do you call the Governor being left to turn and twist in the wind? That's political staff work for you when you can't even enlist your party to help you with your own re-election. ROFL!

There's still a world of difference between paying down existing debt and adding to it. Whatever people's differences of opinion were about Props 57/58, conservatives are united on this bond measure. It stinks to high heaven and I for one, hope it never makes the ballot.
