It's always hard to tell with this kind of thing how much is paranoia and how much is truth, because no one is going to officially admit anything. But what Cibulka says is unfortunately plausible.
If the Soviet Union had agents in the FBI and the CIA, then why would Russia remove or disband them now? They would always be useful. And there appear to be hordes of other leftists in the CIA as well, some possibly agents, some useful idiots, some fellow travelers.
No way. I'm sure Russia's support for the Iranian nuclear weapons program, sale of advanced fighters to Venezuela, and seizure of control over energy products sold by Russians into the EU is enough to prove to anyone that Putin has only peaceful intentions. /sarc
