A leadership vacuum of Churchillian proportion exists. And no one seems willing to fill it.I am dumbfounded that no leader of world consequence has felt the pull enough to step onto the stage.

We have one. He is President Bush and he is being treated the same as Churchill was. I am not saying that as some lemming. Read over what he has accomplished these last few years. Quite remarkable.

Not at all. We presently live in an era of cowardly elites. They are concerned with maintaining their control and not rocking the boat.
IOW they have blinders on.
They will lead us into disaster and from the chaos leadership will necessarialy emerge. A story as old as time, really.
Ya mean like the beast and the whore? Although I must admit they oftentimes appear interchangeable, as the lines of definition blur between them.
