"with supposed surveys showing as much as 80 percent support. "
And how did they arrive at the 80%. Oh yeah, Saddam Hussein got 99% of the vote when he was in office. NPR said so.
Thanks for the ping!
It's two different ends of the same rope with which we will be bound with moral corruption if we continue down that path.
Well said.
In about five years or so no volunteering will be necessary. Some 'concerned' hospital worker will take it upon themselves to end any perceived suffering!
Why do they bother to try and legalize "murder"? They've been doing it since Mao took power; tens of millions killed for the sake of the State. Oh well, I guess by legalizing, they appear more in line with Western countries, especially like The Netherlands, where this crap has been in existence for quite some time. Add this to your list of "sliding down the slippery slope"; the government of The Netherlands is now contemplating euthanasia for children, made available to parents whose child may be to badly damaged as a result of a congenital condition, injury or illness. When does it end?
And we can have a new TV reality show entitled: "Racing for the Hemlock." lol
I'm in favor of euthanasia for Moslems. Maybe that's what the Chinese have in mind. Probably not, though.
