I am surprised that a man with as much dignity as you have, EV, would defend such despicable behavior in others.

Notwithstanding your kind remark that tempered it, since you have accused me of 'defending despicable behavior', you now have an obligation to specifically point out where I did that.

You have blamed this fiasco entirely on those of us who support the President, EV. And in doing that, you have excused the ugliness against the President, and the overt (yes, overt) racism by some of those opposed to the DPW deal.

I haven't seen your initial comments tempered by anything since. This is not President Bush's fault, nor is it the fault of those of us who defend his character, and have done so in spite of ugly attacks on US over the past week.
