This quote is absolutely right on the money. Compare yourself to this man. If someone so much as cuts you off in traffic and gives you the finger, how do you react? Right, same as me. Instant anger, instantly seeking revenge.
Yet look at George Bush. Always unfailingly kind to others, even in the face of terrible slanders, insults and untruths. He has a real operating Christianity. I hope someday to achieve being half the man he is.
You have explained exactly why he annoys the heck out of everyone!
There is nothing more insulting than not being taken seriously as an enemy.
I think you are exactly right.
Thank you for helping me see how hard it must be to be President Bush.
I'll pray harder for him.
George is a great guy, it's just his politics. Hey, even Bill Clinton would be a great guy to take out on a night at the strip clubs with the guys. I bet you wouldn't need to play the radio in the car travelling between clubs. However, he had no business being President.
What makes me mad at George is playing patsy with the Muslims, the open southern border, poor port security regardless of who is running the terminals, winning "hearts and minds" while losing the war, and runaway domestic spending.
"Yet look at George Bush. Always unfailingly kind to others, even in the face of terrible slanders, insults and untruths. He has a real operating Christianity. I hope someday to achieve being half the man he is."
Seeing past petty insults and keeping your eye on the prize is the path to greatness indeed.

OK, he's a good man. That doesn't make him a good President and certainly not a conservative President.
