You, I hope, play the devils advocate to provoke the ingenious possilbitlies that will provoke possible corrective actions we may move upon in order to correct our ill-fated course that we all seem to be heading towards. If that's the case, mind you, I will assist you; otherwise, expect me to point out EVERY fallacy in your rebuttals, without remorse for you. Just where do we find the news reports and blogs that mention the hundreds of millions of Muslims that didn't try to kill anyone last night ?

But you have started with a wrong assumption, my friend, I could care less if Islam holds any truth. Nor do I give one whit about it's nature.

My concern is that we concentrate on the fanatics involved in it and dispose of them. To do otherwise will simply bog us down in social and economic conflicts that will keep us from accomplishing our goals.

You're assuming that after we give it to him, he'll be pleased with the result.

I believe just the opposite. I believe he grossly miscalculated. He has done incalculable damage to the Islamic cause, and the damage compounds everyday.

If there is such a thing as "moderate Muslims" they would be wise to start putting their own house in order.

Buddhists can live alongside Christians can live alongside Hindus can tolerate atheists.

Muslims have a hard time getting along with anyone. Their problem, not ours. If they won't play nice, it's time to usher them off the playground.
