The way I see it, Bush has a choice.
He can either let the documents out and let the truth speak for itself, or he can continue to let his Administration keep them sealed up in bureacratic Never-never Land indefinitely while Muslims, Democrats, Liberals, and America's enemies (but, I repeat myself) continue to lie and distort their way to strategically undermining public support for the war, which will lead directly to American defeat.
This is not the time to play the bureaucrat's favorite game of hide-the-information because the information-I-control-is-more-power-in-my-rice-bowl!

I agree with your take 100%. I think Bush has been on "D" since Jan 20, 2005 which was the day the he took the oath for his second term. He has let the Rats and the Drive By Media set the agenda from that point on whether it be on Iraq, War on Terror, and the Economy. The fricking economy is rolling by all standards set by the elite media in prior administrations (Clinton) and if you believe the polls you would think we were stuck in the 1930's and waiting for Hillary Clinton to "FDR" the country again.
God Help us if that happens!
I think Rove and the entire PR staff (McClenen) in the White House need to take a prolonged vacation if you know what I mean. Yes Rove is a great strategist, but he is no different than a good football coach or company CEO that has reached a certain plateau of success and then they go on cruise control and the quality of the product on the field or in the stores goes south. As a result the fans of the team get restless or the companies profits sink. The same is happening with Bush's numbers and if something is not done like now, hello Speaker Pelosi and Judciary Chairman Conniors.
