Whom is the Democrat Establishment behind in the AG race ? I would think Rocky Delgadillo would be a their choice as the last time Jerry Brown ran statewide (in a good 'Rat year in 1982), he lost the open Senate race to Pete Wilson. Brown, for a time, even left the 'Rat party in the '90s. Brown looks to be attempting to follow in his father's footsteps (who won the AG office before advancing to Governor), and I have no doubt if he wins, he wants to return to the Governorship in 2010 (presuming Ah-nold isn't beaten by Pestly or Angelides).
Also, I wonder how many will register a protest vote with William Chambers in the GOP Gubernatorial primary ? I sure as hell would.
I looked at Rocky's donor list. Less than 6% of his contributors are from Northern California. He definitely has the LA Power brokers behind him (including lots of Arnold's top donors).
