Did you see James Carafano on Fox News just now?

He is virutally SNEERING at the stupidity of the people who are against this deal.

He actually said that we are LESS SAFE now that the UAE has pulled out because the UAE had agreed to make changes and security implementations (at their OWN expense) that the U.S. companies will refuse to make!

He also said that the "they'll have access to our security plans" was the dumbest argument of all because the ONLY thing that the company secures is it's OWN CRANES AND BUILDINGS.

Stupid, stupid CONGRESSIONAL MORONS and their STUPID STUPID GOP ENABLERS!

Do you remember when we first took control of Iraq and kicked Saddam out on his rear

How it took the Iraqis a long time to come around and learn that they could trust us .. that we weren't going to run out on them like prior years

Well what the Republicans are doing is something similar to that

By continuing with this beating .. they are going to get us all killed because the moderate arab allies that we have over there may not continue to help us in the WOT

I just got back from Stations and read your post. It infuriates me whats happening. And the vote will still go on. Where is Rep KIng that said this was over. The damage continues. Look at Sen Mary Landrieu that stupid Dem But I bet the Republican Sen Vitter would have been in the amen corner. Now besides the fact that 100,000 million was given to Katriana efforts by the UAE. THey were going to make improvemnts at the port in New Orleans. Who will prob pay for that the US taxpayers. The one time this region needs investement but I dont expect it will be from the UAE. Incredible

My, my, what a passionate tirade!

Do you have stock in DPW or something? I can understand that you support the deal, but this is kind of extreme.

Yep, you sure are Howlin.

Wouldn't it be nice if President Bush put as much effort into establishing a flat tax, or repealing the 1968 Gun Control act, or DOING SOMETHING ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION as he was putting trying to ram the Dubai Deal through congress?

Sounds like Carafano just called Frank Gaffney, dumb.

Carafano is right.

I didn't see him so I appreciate the ping. As I said earlier, I am nearing the point of hostility towards the Republicans in Congress. (There are individual exceptions.) My favorite part is that they are trying to distance themselves from the President...as if they have a list of noteworthy achievements that weren't initiated by the White House. Let them run on their own stellar record.
