They're already screwed, they acted like boneheads and now its set in stone.
The American public will be become better informed (over the oooohhh REMAINING 39 days of the 'pause' they demanded to 'study' the deal), and these jerks will just sound worse and worse in retrospect.
But in that way, you are right... NOT adding more bad 'soundbytes' would slow the bleeding.
