Now, can you back up the original claim by 'Melas'...that I had posted that "Keyes is gonna crush Obama"?
Do you think Dr. Keyes would have come closer to defeating Obama if folks like you had been actively and positively supporting him instead of making yourselves his constant critics?
I didn't support Keyes because he acted like a buffoon.
And I am still waiting for him to follow through with his pledge to stay in Illinois and help reform the GOP after the election. Any word on that one?

You're right--Keyes sacrificed so much by coming to Illinois, engaging in a scorched earth campaign, filling his coffers, and then leaving the state.
And he certainly shouldn't be expected to actually keep any of those promises he made while campaigning. That would be ridiculous, wouldn't it?

Maybe some IL hacks had their coffers filled, but Keyes certainly didn't.

Hmmm--how many of his campaigns from over the years have debts that remained unpaid for years? And how much money did Dr. Keyes pay himself out of those same campaign funds?
You can call it the "depth of...hatred" if you like, but I simply call it refusing to turn a blind eye to corruption and hypocrisy, even when it dresses itself up in conservative buzzwords.

Because contributions are way down this year, the RNC had to rent the smaller tent. Couldn't afford to rent the Big Tent.
When asked why they never bought the Big Tent, the RNC had no comment.
