I'll send you to a place that can make you understand. Google Hong Kong. If you don't, or if you think I am an idiot, fine, you lose. There is nothing more powerful than a society that is free and has a very low tax base. Nothing else matters. It really doesn't. Listen, I have been a de facto economist for decades. I don't know all the answers but I do know the truth. Free people unfettered by government and taxes can create enormous wealth. Absolutely enourmous wealth.

"Google Hong Kong." If you're so enamoured with HK, why not just move there?

It's one of the most immoral places on the face of the planet. I suppose you'd prefer living in Bangkok or Dubai, to living in America as well?

I agree with you on this account. "Free people unfettered by government and taxes can create enormous wealth. Absolutely enormous wealth." However, we do not live in a free world. We live in a world with numerous governments, numerous roadblocks, and a world with many taxes. In the real world. The taxes must be paid. We can pay them or we can charge an admission fee to outside sellers. I would rather the outside sellers pay.

When Hong Kong was going from a back water gambling den to a world powerhouse and most economically free nation in the world... their security forces captured and returned thousands (millions?) of illegal aliens (Chinese swimming to freedom). Why can't we protect our borders and ports too? Do you want to talk about security protections in Singapore during their rise to greatest also?
