When you have the feeling you're being followed, do you just react? Or do you stop and gather some evidence of danger first?

In the first place, the parallel doesn't hold, because there was no danger involved. In the second place, the U.S. Military is in charge of security, so it doesn't matter how I 'feel.'

If you leave the discussion, it will not be because I didn't adequately answer your hypothetical (bad) comparison. It will be because you refused to acknowledge the logical answer I gave you.

I don't believe important decisions should be based on feelings, no matter how hard someone on the internet tries to persuade me that I should.
