Those who work with TWP know that the budget has been pretty fat for a while ( you have to see the spending to believe it), it was just a matter of time before some re-structuring happened. The bad news is that they are still quite profitable and this really doesn't amount to anything.

Yes it will amount to something, but it's bad news:
Less reporting, more forwarding of Press Releases and Al Reuters.
If it weren't for the persistant biases, the Washington Post would be an excellent newspaper. (Big "if"). This will cause it to decline in quality.
