These polls are absolutely meaningless. When they are weighted to such ridiculous levels. Yet there will be quite a few weak-kneed FR's going nuts saying the end is coming (which is exactly the purpose for these silly MSM driven polls).
If the GOP stands firm behind GWB (see how in every MSM report they continually suggest the GOP shouldn't do this...they need to distance themselves their polls show???). But if the GOP stands firm with GOP they will win big time this November (just like in 2000, 2002 and 2004)....if those in the GOP/RNC get weak-kneed and don't stand firm with GWB (on Iraq, WOT, etc)....then they do have a good chance at losing this Nov.
Lastly, we are a long way from any election. Let the DEM's win their silly polls. We'll win at the ballot box (as long as the RNC/GOP doesn't go weak-kneed).

I don't believe the country is going in the right direction but much of it is not due to Bush.
Gay this, Gay that 24/7..... The Dems voted for the Iraq war then systematically undermined it. We have Politicians / Government employees committing treason being lauded as conscientous whistle blowers, just to name a few.

The only way the GOP will lose control of either house of Congress in 2006 is if they abandon President Bush.
In the 1998 and 2002 midterms, only 36% of the Voting Age Population decided to vote.
That means in a fair sample poll of Democrats, Republicans and Independents, you only need 19% of that sample to vote your way in November in order to make gains.
The Democrats in politics and the press can not fake their way to victory.
The real question is this: As a conservative are you both stupid and feckless enough to believe the fake polls or will you just vote regardless of the media lies?
I know what I will do.

But you're a Bushbot, you're not following the way of the True Republican, i.e. sit on your hands in November to "Send a message about immigration!" REAL Republicans don't support President Bush! /s.o.
Good post. I hope some of the SAVAGE!Weiners around here read it and take it to heart.
