Probably the same thing that happened to them when Lawrence Taylor was allowed to continue being a role model for our children after multiple offences involving illegal drug use, or O.J. "I just had a mental breakdown," she said of the incident that placed her in jail Monday. "I'm sorry that I did that and upset those young people. They were very professional about it. I wasn't out to intend to hurt anybody. I won't do anything like this again."
Oh ........... ok.
I certainly know that this is a sympathetic story if there are any sympathetic stories for robbing a bank, but really, if they let this woman off, some surrounding areas of Pittsburgh are pretty depressed areas these days, and that certainly could give others who are down and out a thought of doing the same thing................ and just think if they actually get away with it.

Presuming Granny is not a career criminal, letting her off will have no- that is ZERO role model effects and will encourage ZERO others to rob banks and will have ZERO effects on peoples' estimation of the efficacy if the judicial system. Reations from nonbitter non jackbooted citizens will range from snickers to "oh the poor dear."
