Thanks LT....I think that the overall response to help those affected by Katrina gave everyone the needed shock to their system to realize that you need to get ready for you and yours first...and not depend on anyone...especially those gov. agencies.
Yesterday someone quoted a government official as saying if an nbc, *nuclear, biological, or chemical* strike hits this country, "everyone is on their own." I would have posted it, but couldn't find a link. However, everyone should assume they will be on their own, and plan accordingly.
